IRVING, Texas —In a vote of the league’s head coaches, Oklahoma State’s Andrea Riley was one of five players selected to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team it was announced on Wednesday.
Riley enters her junior campaign after delivering one of the most productive seasons in school history a year ago. The 5-5 guard averaged 23.1 points, 4.1 assists 3.7 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game. She also guided the Cowgirls to a 27-8 record and a berth in the NCAA Sweet 16, earning all-conference honors in the process.

STILLWATER, Okla.—Oklahoma State’s Andrea Riley was named one of nine final nominees for the Nancy Lieberman Award today by the Nancy Lieberman Award committee.
In its ninth year, the award is a national project of the Rotary Club of Detroit and honors the nation’s top collegiate point guard in women’s Division I basketball.
Andrea Riley Named To Midseason Wooden Award List

LOS ANGELES—Oklahoma State’s Andrea Riley was named one of 20 midseason candidates for the John R. Wooden Award it was announced this week by the Women’s Wooden Award Committee.
Composed of the top 20 players who will compete for this season's player of the year award, the midseason list is based on individual player performance and team records during the first half of the season.
Forty-seven players received votes for the midseason list, indicating the depth of this year's field. Six players have been selected to the Midseason Top 20 who were not on the Preseason Top 30 list, including Riley.

ATLANTA - Oklahoma State sophomore Andrea Riley was among 31 players named to the 2008 Naismith Trophy midseason list it was announced today by the Atlanta Tipoff Club.
The women’s list, which includes 31 candidates because of a tie, was voted on by the Atlanta Tipoff Club’s Board of Selectors, comprised of leading basketball journalists, coaches and administrators from around the country. The board based its criteria on player performances this season, and the list was narrowed down from the preseason list of 50 candidates who were announced at the beginning of the season.

IRVING, Texas - Oklahoma State’s Andrea Riley was named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week by a media voting panel for games played from Jan. 7-13.
Riley guided the 18th-ranked Cowgirls (14-1) to a 2-0 mark last week to begin conference play. The Dallas, Texas native helped OSU to a 59-54 win at Kansas on Wednesday and an 82-63 win over No. 6 Oklahoma on Saturday night.

IRVING, Texas - Oklahoma State’s Andrea Riley has been named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week by a media voting panel for games played from Nov. 19-25.
The Dallas, Texas native helped the Cowgirls improve to 6-0 on the year after directing OSU to road victories against UC Riverside and Fresno State. In those two games, Riley averaged 30 points, five rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game.

IRVING, Texas - Oklahoma State sophomore guard Andrea Riley was named an honorable mention All-Big 12 pick this week in a vote by the league’s head coaches.
Riley was instrumental in the resurgence of the Cowgirls last season, helping them to the largest turnaround in the nation. OSU finished the season with a 20-11 mark and their first NCAA Tournament berth since 1996.
